Start with the right class
Call the school before your first visit and share your child's age and any previous martial arts experience. The school can match that information to the current schedule and explain which class is the best place to begin.
Chung TKD welcomes children ages 2–13, and older children can attend too. Grandmaster Chung confirms the right class and placement with each family.
Keep preparation simple
Ask what your child should wear and bring when you confirm the visit. Comfortable movement, water, and a few minutes to settle in are a practical starting point unless the school gives you different instructions.
It is normal for a new student to watch, listen, and learn the rhythm of the room. The first visit is a chance for the family and the school to decide on a comfortable next step.
Questions are welcome
Ask about class timing, the belt journey, attendance, or anything your child is unsure about. A short conversation before class can make the first visit easier for everyone.
